JOB FILLED – Customer Service Supervisor / Manager

If you are an experienced Customer Service Supervisor / Team Leader with hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, this could be your next career move.

The Company is a leading global manufacturer of Equipment used in materials handling; freight; food processing and manufacturing, printing and packaging and more.

The Head Office is located in Silverwater, NSW, with satellite State operations plus New Zealand.

Their existing Customer Service Manager is taking on a new position, and this has created a great opportunity for someone seeking to step into a Leadership role.

You will need to demonstrate a personality that is instantly warming to clients most of whom you will may only ever meet by phone or email. You will be someone that clients look forward to speaking with, while at the same time have absolute trust in you to respond to their needs.

You will be hands-on, “the Go To” person when things need action

You will be supported by your team of five reports located interstate and in NZ, plus a significant technical and manufacturing resource to ensure the highest quality of product and services are provided on time, every time.

Your duties will include preparation of quotations (via the ERP system) entering orders; preparing work orders. Communicating and interaction with customers, sales and manufacturing and other administrative tasks.

Currently customer calls are inbound, but someone that is proactive with outbound calls to existing small customers would be considered favourably.

You will also need to be well organized having a thorough eye for detail, with competent computer skills. Ideally if you have used a CRM progam or ERP, this would be great.

A clear and precise phone manner is essential and excellent written communication skills are critical aspects for the role.

Hours are reasonably normal Monday to Friday, however due to the demands of the role there are occasions when flexibility in finishing time is required.

The salary is in the range of $50k – $55k plus super, with a great opportunity to be part of a global organisation that are a leader in their field.
